why its good to have a man in the house..

-to cut the grass, and to borrow the neighbors lawnmower when the pull string on yours break after only getting half the yard mowed

– to trim long dead branches on the big obnoxious tree that made it hard to cut the grass

– to sweep up the leaves from the driveway

– to change lightbulbs when more than 2 go out at a time at different places in the house

– to move the ladder that’s been sitting on the deck for a week unused

– to help care for fussy kids

– and more importantly to cook for you every now and then!!

I did most of those things above yesterday or today already….the cutting grass was fun w/ the kids, at least Zeke was taking a nap.  another showing of the house this morning, so the house needs to stay clean.  I’m taking the little ones w/ me to look for an outfit for the wedding we’re going to on Saturday, yeah for finding friends to watch the kids!!!

gotta run, I cant wait to have dean change some stinky diapers for me….of course both have them at the same time..

About Amy

Mom to boys who were born Aug. 2001, Nov. 2004, March 2006; and devoted wife to the love of my life since Nov. 1998. Chronic worrier but devoted Christian who is trying to put her fears and faith in the One who created it all and provides for all my needs despite the daily challenges and doubts that arise. Along the way I chose to share my journey with you. Thanks for coming along for the ride! The road won't always be bright and the journey may sometimes be hard, but it can be an amazing adventure if you keep your eyes and thoughts "on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable" (Philippians 4:8).
