Breaking through the Fibrofog…

this is what we got when we went trick or treating(wish we had taken a pic that shows the  height of the pile!)…just on a few blocks in our development! AND we turned down candy for Zeke lots of times…if we hadnt we’d have had tons more!! How can I lose weight w/ snickers, m&ms and milky ways hanging around?!?!? at least I”m exercising everyday!! the boys had fun and we did too! but I’m wiped out and have a very full day tomorrow. Dean’s off on Friday to get some things done before his trip, his flight leaves Tuesday at 6 a.m.

Our neighborhood, Violetville MD was big into Halloween.   Houses were decorated, often extremely so!   Our neighborhood would be packed with kids.  During the day the school kids would go for a parade through the neighborhood.  So far it seems this community is the same…we’ll see how busy our neighborhood is tonight.  But Calebs school had a parade and the folks even gave them candy bags as they walked around.   he came home w/ a nice size bag of treats from those who were watching.  I had the pleasure of spending the morning w/ Zeke and Bo at the preschool party then went to Caleb’s party at school before leaving to take Bo to the dr.  He and Zeke have been keeping us up at night the last few nights w/ horrible coughs and general unhappiness…..

Dean booked his flight to Florida for next week.  Everyone is trying to convince me to fly down to meet him for a few days…not sure I want to get into debt to do so but it sure is tempting, esp. when folks offer to keep our kids….

who stole my energy ??? I woke up and had trouble getting going this morning, we were really late to preschool and I just cant pull things together today.  I am working on cupcakes for the preschool Halloween party tomorrow.  I have to figure out some things to take to Calebs school thing I think…lots to do actually.   I think my biggest problem is that everytime I start to do something I remember what else needs done and then things come to mind that need to happen before Dean leaves for 2 weeks, and none of it can happen til after pay day, which is tomorrow…and tomorrow is going to be busy…..I think I’m just getting bogged down w/ the thought that Dean will be gone and it’s making me somewhat depressed.  I was doing fine til last night and this morning and now I’m just in a funk.  I know it will be fine…I am just stressing I guess.  something I havent done in a few weeks!

doesnt help that theres a major preschool fundraiser dinner next wednesday and I signed up to help w/ food, and well w/ Dean gone that will be very hard.  still looking for a good sitter, since I’ll be gone from 530ish til probably 9 or 10.   blah….

I remember this guy giving me a cd once, at the moment I cant recall the song he wanted me to hear in particular, but apparently I didnt get that it meant that he REALLY liked me.   aaaahhhh….that was SOOOO long ago.   Now I would just  love for Dean to get me my own MP3 player w/ a playlist he’d know I’d enjoy.   Much more expensive than a mix tape, but what would I do w/ a tape when we only have a cd player in the house!?

Been hanging out w/ the kiddos and my niece today, since she was off of school.  She’s been a big help w/ the kids too!  we took Zeke to the dr since his lips turned purple this morning and he’s been wheezing for a week or so and even w/ albuterol treatments sounds bad.  So today we got prescriptions for an inhaler for him w/ a mask attached since he doesnt sit still for his albuterol treatments.    Luckily his oxygen level was fine today, at least when we went to the dr that is!

Dean may be going to Florida for work for two weeks, he’d leave next Monday and come back in two weeks, on a Friday I think.   I really wish I could go with him, it would be awesome!  but….someone has to stay w/ the kids and we dont have the money for me to fly there.

Yesterday we took Caleb to see the Children’s theatres’ version of High School Musical.  He loved it, and so did I!  We know he dreams of being on stage and are very aware of his desires and are hoping once he’s old enough to get him into some local theatre.

Lots going on this week!  I’ll post pics later on in the week probably.   Coming up on our 9 year anniversary, no plans as of yet, and w/ Dean going away dont know what we’ll do but know that we really want to do something since he’ll be gone for 2 weeks!

I have never really been one of those go all out for halloween folks, but there’s something to be said for free candy and games!! I am ALL about taking my kid to free Halloween events where they can show off how adorable(ok handsome for Caleb) they are and get FREE candy and other fun things. So I’m really enjoying Halloween all month long, theres been tons of things to do and I dont know if we just didnt do things in MD but we’re definitely keeping busy this year. This morning we went to our communities Halloween party. In a little bit our neighbor is taking caleb with them to a Halloween party and this evening there’s a cub scout event for Halloween that we’re all going to. Tomorrow night we’re serving at our church’s halloween event. Wednesday of course at preschool we’re having a party and in the afternoon my MIL is watching the youngins so I can go to Calebs school for his halloween party and parade. I dont know why I am enjoying it so much, I think partly because I really want me kids to have fun, the other part is because they look so darn cute and everyone always agrees w/ us on that! after this week I need to focus on what we’re doing for Thanksgiving and Bo’s 3rd birthday. the next few weeks are so busy for us, and it’s going to be interesting to see how I can keep up w/ exercising and being so busy. I didnt make it to curves today, they close at 1 and last time I asked whats a good time on Saturday they told me the last hour is the worst, they get busy and I figured I’ve been everyday this week so one day off wont kill me!!
