So last night my friend Malinda took me to the grocery store and was amazing. She unloaded my groceries at the checkout, loaded them into her van and then unloaded them into our kitchen! It was the longest I’d been out of the house since my surgery.
Another friend from church, Maureen works for Cincy Chic, an online magazine.  They were having a contest and the winners won 3 of Sanda Lee’s new cookbooks, a chance to meet her to get the book signed and get your picture with her. So yesterday Maureen told me I was a winner.  I invited Malinda to join me so we planned to go together.   The funniest thing was I was worried Malinda wouldn’t get to meet Sandra Lee like I would but as she was standing around waiting for the interview, she walked up to Malinda and introduced herself and shook her hand, then she did the same, so she got to meet her before I did!   She also signed her books without making her wait in the line where everyone else had to after the Cincy Chic interview took place.
