Not sure why I was so excited that after the elections things would go back to normal, now people just seem to be either complaining or jumping for joy.   On a forum I frequent people are referring to Obama as the ant-Christ.  I think that’s funny since someone close to me voted for him, I didn’t vote so it wasnt me.   I guess after having their party in office for so long they think the world is going down the drain, but the funny thing is that it’s their government that got us in this financial mess yet they are mad that now things are going to change?  I don’t get it.  That’s why I try to stay out of politics.  I just don’t get it.  he’s another man in office.  Man, humans, are failed, no matter who was elected it would have sucked in some way, thus why I don’t vote.   So get over it, everyone.   It’s another election, we can’t control what happens, really we think our vote matters and I guess it does on the grand scale but no matter who is in office the government will do whatever the heck it wants so we’re all along for the ride no matter how we voted.   Get used to it….there’s only One person in charge of my life and really as long as we trust Him then why stress over something as stupid as elections.

yes I might be ignorant but I don’t care.  I firmly believe that things will happen the way there are meant to, and God knew a long time ago the outcome of this election so what’s the point in my worrying about it.   I’m glad that we live in a world that someone from a different race can be our leader, but really it was just a matter of time and I’ll really only be impressed when it’s a woman or the system actually changes into one where things happen that are actually for the Good of the people not just the rich and powerful, but I won’t hold my breath.    ooooh even better than a woman president would be if we had a gay or lesbian in office, now that would be interesting!   I guess to me it’s just easier to see Obama as another man since I don’t really ever see someone as what color they are but I know that this is important historically and that some people are probably hating him being elected but for me he’s just another man, no matter what color, he’s human and just like the rest of us, til yesterday that is, and then in January he’ll be in control of way too much power in my opinion.    I just don’t get all the hype….I guess I should be glad our country finally looked past the external, but really it was just a matter of time…

Oh yeah,  when talking to a stranger this week I heard the best idea I’ve heard in a while, she said she was embarrassed at hearing how much campaign money both parties had and used on this election.    She said that if they had used that money for something useful like paying off the countrys debt or taking care of other issues then maybe she’d vote for them.   I second her….sure they have to get their name out there but w/ the internet and tv I can bet they could have easily saved a lot of that money to put to much better use than waking up my kid from his nap several times over the last month trying to get my vote, because if anything it made me want to not vote even more.
