the countdown has started…

we settle on our  new home this week, move in date is Friday, December 15th.  lots to do, like PACK!!  and rent a truck, and arrange childcare to pack, arrange and find money to clean up and even paint this house after we move out.   It’s overwhelming and I feel horrible.  Mom went w/ me today to walmart to get some bins to start packing the kids clothes up, i was just going to leave out a weeks’ worth of clothes and then just do laundry when needed until we move, but walmart didnt have any bins w/ matching lids?!?  so I settled for the big ziploc bags, which may be easier when packing anyway.   we’ll see.

dean gets home, well can we continue to call it home at this point? anway..next Saturday morning, I think my friend is having a going away get together for us Sunday night. we are packing up until we leave to for good on either Thursday the 14th or the 15th.  plans arent really set yet for that.

I still feel pretty bad, very tired and still in pain.  yesterday we celebrated Boaz’s 2nd birthday (sadly without his daddy here) and I was so exhausted after planning the whole party by myself.  I did just about everything myself.  I cant post pics yet since I cant get the computer to recognize my camera for some reason, but I will as soon as I can get the pics off of the camera.   So last night I was asleep before 9 but still woke up feeling badly.  I cant seem to kick this cold either.  This week is busy too so I need to get some more energy somehow.  I have a dentist appt Tuesday morning, the boys have checkups Tuesday afternoon.  Thursday I have a doctors appointment, hoping the dr calls w/ my lab work results before then, but doubting it will happen unless something is wrong, but even then who knows.

so I need to pack Caleb’s lunch, work on laundry and straighten up then get myself into bed.  I havent been able to stay awake to watch any of my shows I want to, thankfully the tivo is keeping them for me, but it stinks being so tired and miserable all of the time.   tomorrow morning someone is coming from the title company so I can sign all of the paperwork for part of the closing required before Dean goes to closing on Friday, it’s all so confusing.  luckily they were able to convince someone to come to the house so I wouldnt have to go out w/ the boys, hoping Zeke is napping when the guy comes so I’ll just have to keep Bo busy.

the next few weeks are going to be very challenging, and we’re not sure how it’s going to work out financially other than we know it always does..pray everything goes well w/ closing on the house this week. I’m so excited about our new home….so very excited…..4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, huge yard, finished basement, 2 car garage on a culdesac….now if we could just get a vehicle that will get us there…or the money to fix the van…not sure how that’s going to pan out either…just another financial burden that needs tackled in the next 2 weeks…fun stuff….

I am sorry you feel so crappy during all this! You are amazing though, you really seem to keep it all together! I hope once you all are settled you can get some well deserved rest!!

From your blog it doesn’t seem like you are feeling very well. Is it wise to take on such a large project like a home move with three small children at this time? What you need most is a nap.
