I’m sure a lot of women are guilty of this, but before being a mom there were thing that I would see parents do and say that that is just wrong.  using one of these was one of those things.  I thought it was cruel and mean.   Well, with two  under 2, ok now one toddler and one under 1, and pain in both arms that make lifting and moving hard I knew I had to get one and give it a try.  Today was the second time I’ve used it, once I used it to get safely from our van to the walmart entrance to get a cart.   I used it when dropping Caleb off at school and picking him up today.  This morning all the parents were like, hey I need one of those.  In the afternoon the kids were the ones who were making fun of me.  some boys asked if my dog would bite them.    A tall middle school girl said hey dont you know that that is cruel and wrong.  I said yep and walked away.   they went on to walk away and I heard the girl say one day I’m going to put my kid on a leash and say sit your ass down and stay there.   at least I know I am doing it truly keep myself and the kids safe, I am not doing it in the least to be mean but boy did those kids today make me feel so guilty.  I’m not healthy enough to not need help these days, if it takes using a kid leash, umm. I mean child harness, then that’s what I’m going to do, but I’m still opposed to what it stands for as far as keeping my kid on a leash.
