Cookie Cake Experiment

Who needs cupcakes? Bo wanted a special treat for his class, and I didn’t want to make the standard cupcake or brownie. I went to the store last night after my class and walked around, thought about making rice krispies but decided that’s the easy way out. I thought about cheating and buying something store made, again, cheating in my mind! So….I saw the funfetti cookie mix, which I know is yummy and grabbed them since it was on sale. On the box there was an idea to make them into lollipops! Ingenious! So….needless to say I went with it, but today I realized the icing might still be soft and messing for transport so I had to find a way to creatively move them. Thus my foam bowl/plate set up thanks to the use of the craft sticks sliding into holes made by a knife a head of time so I knew it wouldn’t mess up the cookie’s icing! Not too shabby! The whole time I did this Zeke has been asleep on the sofa, he’s been infected by the same stomach bug that Bo had earlier in the week. Needless to say the house is eerily quite. I got to bake cookies, be creative, and blog. Now what??? Perhaps a nap???
