well….the xray of my foot showed arthritis and a bone spur – so chances are the frequent pain I get in the toe that also has gout is indeed the bone spur not always gout flare ups which is good to know.  The arthritis part really scares me!   Now I make an appointment w/ a podiatrist and hope treatment is easy! and doesnt involve surgery, fun times.   Not sure why my body hates me so…..
