New Years

amy & Boaz New Year

Spending the new year w/ my baby!!

Caleb celebrating the new year

Dean & Caleb at the New Years Party – check out Dean’s shoes, my hubby is truly unique and thats why I love him, even if his shoes are ugly!!

we ended up having a great new years. Caleb stayed up til 1 am even! I know we are bad parents, but he partied and had a ball. He crashed in the car on the way home from the party. Boaz nursed when we got there and slept, while everyone passed him around so he was held all night long, and nursed again right after we celebrated the new year. So it was a nice evening. I even got to play games since both kids were taken care of by other people, it was great! thats the good thing about having friends who like kids! Boaz and Caleb were the only kids there but it was fine. Caleb loves our friends and they all love him. They played with him all night and kept him busy or held and loved on Boaz while Dean and I had fun socializing and enjoying the night.

Well, Boaz is almost 6 weeks old and I think he has his first cold. Calebs been battling a cough for at least a week and now Boaz isnt eating well, he’s barely nursed since last night. His little nose is all stuffy, we can hear how congested his is but we cant seem to get anything to come out when we suction his nose. it’s strange. He’s still wetting diapers so I guess I shouldnt worry yet but if hes still not eating tomorrow I guess I”ll have to call the doctor. I was dreading the baby getting sick and I am praying he starts to want to eat soon, #1 because he needs to and # 2, my poor body needs him to nurse soon. I’ve actually had to pump again for the first time in weeks. I hate having to since the boy still wont take a bottle. I tried that again today since I had pumped and he didnt want anything to do with it. Silly spoiled little boy!! ah, he’s only a few weeks old he cant possibly been spoiled right?

I just wanted to update while I had a minute. The baby has definitely kept me from updating here like I want, I always want to write but I only think about it really when I’m nursing and one handed typing is not very fun! Hope everyone had a great new year! we sure did! I’m looking forward for another amazing year!
