to vote or not to vote

well everyones doing it, blogging about election day. I wasnt going to as in all honesty I dont give a darn about any of it, I know I really should, but I just dont care. My hubby tried to convince me to go do my civic duty and even made the kid tell me to but I wouldn’t give in. I will not make an uninformed decision. True it’s my own fault I dont know the canditates and the issues, but like I said I dont care to. I’m sure i could have found great online resources today to help me make an informed decision but again I didnt. There are enough people out there who care about this to take care of it for me, I will not go vote just to say I did. If and when I ever do vote it will be after long months of watching the issues and canidates and lots of research. So sorry for the disappointment folks and I’m sure I’ll upset a lot of politically active people but like I said I dont care!

One day maybe one day I’ll vote but todays not the day. Ironically while in high school I was all about researching canditates and knowing the issues, and back then I had no say in any of it. Now I’ve got the opportunity and am doing nothing about it. oh well, guess what, with or without my vote, someone will win and what I would or wouldn’t have voted wont really matter.

well the hubby and kid are back from doing “their civic duty” so I’m gonna get. I think if Dean hadnt brought it up and suprise the heck out of me and go vote himself I probably wouldnt have even posted about this. so thanks a lot hon!
