the countdown begins

In exactly one month we will be holding our new baby boy!!! I’m starting to really get worried we’re not ready but dont have the energy today to work on the nursery or laundry that needs done before the baby arrives. I’m going to have another stress test tomorrow, I have to remember to ask the dr what happens if the baby fails the stress test. I packed a lot of stuff in my hospital bag just in case. I was so afraid on Thursday that I’d go and they’d find something wrong and send me to the hospital, so I was determined to get a little more prepared before my next appt, which is tomorrow! I dont know how quickly things can change but I’m guessing a few days makes a difference since they have me coming every Monday and Thursday, but with any luck the end of this pregnancy will be much less eventful than Calebs. So far so good, as long as my blood pressure keeps staying in range and my sugars are doing sooo much better! (added insulin makes a huge difference!) So a few more weeks to hang in there, and I am ready but then again not. All I know is that my biggest fear right now is how I’ll take care of two kids and recover from a c-section, but I”m sure we’ll get by. I’ll let you know how the stress test and appointment go tomorrow some time.

About Amy

Mom to boys who were born Aug. 2001, Nov. 2004, March 2006; and devoted wife to the love of my life since Nov. 1998. Chronic worrier but devoted Christian who is trying to put her fears and faith in the One who created it all and provides for all my needs despite the daily challenges and doubts that arise. Along the way I chose to share my journey with you. Thanks for coming along for the ride! The road won't always be bright and the journey may sometimes be hard, but it can be an amazing adventure if you keep your eyes and thoughts "on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable" (Philippians 4:8).
