What the heck!  Caleb’s fever broke and he’s seemed fine.  Through the night last night Bo started w/ a  fever.  This morning he and Zeke still have fevers.   The only one who looks sick is Zeke, his eyes are all crusty and he only woke up this morning because Bo went in his room to wake him up.  even then when I went to get him he was just laying in his crib.   He just looks unwell but isnt completely lethargic.   No big plans today, just to put away laundry and Caleb has soccer camp.  Maybe we’ll just hang out at home to be safe in case whatever this is is contagious.     Oh…i do have a drs appt this afternoon, but just to get bloodwork drawn, I hope I dont keep forgetting about that appointment…

    Amy,

I saw Pam’s posting about Willoweve’s therapies and your comments about Bo. I don’t want to intrude where maybe I shouldn’t but I have one small suggestion. I also sent this to Pam. I am not sure how the school system works in Ohio but I would investigate getting something called an “advocate”. Also, I don’t know if there is a cost with this. As a teacher, there have been several parents that bring “advocates” with them to Special Education meetings. These people are advocates for the child’s best interests. They also know the laws in your particular state and area and can “fight” for your child. I am not implying that you can’t, just that it might be easier if you had this person to help. I would recommend that you call your school system’s office of Special Education to see what information they have about “advocates”. At least, that’s what we call them in Howard County. Hope this helps.
