Wisdom from my walk

It’s been an odd day or so..and the rest of the week is jammed pack w/ busy-ness. Some new pics up on Flickr. Today it was 65 degrees out so we spent the afternoon playing outside. It was awesome. I wore capris and a t-shirt to work out in and afterward went to walmart and it was still warm out, and it was dark even! Here’s a pic from when we went to the Cincy zoo w/ my mom on Sunday. She left yesterday. on the way to the airport Zeke threw up all over himself and the car seat. it’s always eventful for us! So much to say so little time! so enjoy the new pics and off to bed w/ me!! (i’m not sleeping well these days. so tonight I’ve decided if I’m up again from 2-5 I’m going to take the dog for a walk or get online- esp. if it’s still in the 60’s out as it is now!…so I might post more later! but hopefully not!)

we celebrated the holiday by opening Christmas gifts for the boys since my mom is visiting.  The boys were very excited!   We put a fire in the fireplace and had cinnamon rolls for breakfast!  we have an appt. to get pictures taken this afternoon but other than that no big plans for the weekend.   Now the boys are playing Sorry, it was one of Caleb’s gifts, he had it on his list for santa.   (more pics up on Flickr including ones of our playroom…I”ll try to post about that later or in a few days)

OMG!!! we went to a holiday party tonight, a big bash in these parts apparently, all the folks that are popular get invited or something like that…but the coolest part….we got to enjoy a free 1 hr 30 min concert of Harry Connick Jr and his Big Band.   it was amazing music and afterward we got free food and drinks.  Plus everyone got coupons for free ice cream (the company owns a big ice cream chain here) and $100 for a restaurant…so we total we have $200 for that restaurant!!

my day started off great too…today there were free 15 minute massages at curves and I left feeling wonderful!  I wake up w/ low back pain everyday, but whatever she did today made it all go away. Definitely will go to her again soon, and her rates are pretty good too.

So free massage, free awesome concert, free food and to top it off the night was spent w/ Dean’s whole family hanging out at the party.    Big thanks go out to Malinda and Jay for making it all possible by hanging out at our house while the kids slept, the concert didnt start til 9 so we were able to get the kids in bed before we left.

what a day!!!  we got home shortly after midnight and are ready to crash….but it was worth the late night.  will have some pics posted tomorrow from the night.

sorry folks…but to me Facebook is a not as cheap looking version of myspace.   i just dont get it really I guess.   Maybe if I had hours to spend online I’d find an interest in it!! I’m lucky to be able to check my email these day!
