OMG!!! we went to a holiday party tonight, a big bash in these parts apparently, all the folks that are popular get invited or something like that…but the coolest part….we got to enjoy a free 1 hr 30 min concert of Harry Connick Jr and his Big Band.   it was amazing music and afterward we got free food and drinks.  Plus everyone got coupons for free ice cream (the company owns a big ice cream chain here) and $100 for a restaurant…so we total we have $200 for that restaurant!!

my day started off great too…today there were free 15 minute massages at curves and I left feeling wonderful!  I wake up w/ low back pain everyday, but whatever she did today made it all go away. Definitely will go to her again soon, and her rates are pretty good too.

So free massage, free awesome concert, free food and to top it off the night was spent w/ Dean’s whole family hanging out at the party.    Big thanks go out to Malinda and Jay for making it all possible by hanging out at our house while the kids slept, the concert didnt start til 9 so we were able to get the kids in bed before we left.

what a day!!!  we got home shortly after midnight and are ready to crash….but it was worth the late night.  will have some pics posted tomorrow from the night.

    I. am. so. Jealous. 🙂

Harry is my favoritestest ever. He rocks. And he’s awesome in concert… had a chance to see him before and it rocked! Was it a big-band, solo, or stripped down 4-5 piece?

  2. Wow! I knew Harry was going to be here at the Lindner Co. Christmas party, but was not in the loop as far as the entire Big Band being with him! What a treat!!!

Glad you enjoyed your evening ~ Harry and the guys put on one heckuva show, don’t they? I ought to know, I’ve traveled over 1200 miles this year to see him on tour. Being a fan for over 17 years, I also started a FanSpace in his honor: Harry Connick, Jr. FanSpace. Stop by and visit!!

Would love to hear more about your night (especially about the concert…did he play mostly Christmas music?) Feel free to e-mail me.

    Happy Holiday Hugs,

    ~Heather~
