Dean’s going to be a den leader for cubscouts! I’m so excited for he and Caleb. there’s a camping overnight this Friday, not sure if they are going yet or not. I want them to because it will be fun, but I selfishly dont want another night/and morning w/out Deaner!!
This morning is dragging on, at least that’s how it feels to me. I’m not motivated to do much and dont have energy to either, but I still managed to get some chores done. the boys have been riding their bikes in the garage, it’s too muggy for Zeke and I to go outside to play, the humidity is horrible for our breathing problems.  It’s so odd that Zeke and I have both been having problems w/ asthma but it didnt happen til we moved here. different allergens I suppose, or something. I’m dreading my drs appt.  it’s not w/ my regular dr so I’ll likely have to go into my whole life story and I hate that….I dont even know what I expect, I’m having chest pains again but all the last bout of tests were normal except for the heart murmur which has developed in the last year and they said it’s nothing to worry about. I dont even want more meds, I just want them to figure out what it is and make it go away, but I know the likeliness of that happening….

My husband was a denleader and is now cub master of our area here in south dakota and it becomes a lot of work!!! Just wanted to give you a heads up to be prepared for everyones opinion of what should happen w/boy scouts but never having those parents do anything!!
Just thought I’d share something I read in a devotional today that made me think of you. It’s called “He heals All My Diseases”
One of the benefits of being a Christian is that every disease you and I experience in this life is assured of healing – if not in this life, then in the life to come. Have you ever stopped to think about the benefit of healing? A deep cut in our finger will heal and be as good as new before long. our bodies are miraculous in their innate ability to heal, but ultimately they will give out and break down. My friend, Cheri, was born with cerbral palsy. Life is a struggle for her every day. She walks with a walker and has constant pain in her back. Despite her physical difficulties, Cheri told me that she is thankful for her disability. I asked Cheri one dayhow she could possibly be thankful for cerbral palsy. She shared with me how her disease had slowed her down and helped her meet many wonderful people. with all the difficulties in Cheri’s life, she has grabbed hold of what is important. Everyone is inspired by Cheri’s tenacity and her determination to never give up (which by the way – I’m constantly inspired by you and wonder if I would be nothing more than a sulker of how bad my life is and miss out on all the great things God provides for me) has God healed her cerbral palsy? No, but He has given Cheri abundant life in the midst of it. Ultimate healing probably won’t come to Cheri until she leaves this earthly body. But God has healed her emotions, her soul and her mind. How can we complain about minor aches and pains when others (Amy) around us are able to be thankful for major illnesses and disabilities? Yes, another benefit of knowing Christ is that He heals all our diseases. Nineteenth-century preacher and theologian Charles Spurgeon said in his book Gleanings Among the Sheaves, “The Lord gets His best soldiers out of the highlands of affliction”. Amy – you are one of God’s best soldiers! I pray that God heals your pain, but am confident that he has already healed you spiritually.
“Praise the Lord, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits- who forgives all your sins and HEALS ALL YOUR DISEASES, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisifes your desireds with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”
Psalm 103:1-5
