Zeke went to his last physical therapy appointment, hopefully for good. Last week Erin, his therapist, re-evaluated him. He’s caught up to his age, he came in about the 50th percentile for his age and ability which is better than where he was. A lot better. Last week we talked about our options, he could stay in therapy and continue to work on skills he’ll need or stop and see how he does w/out therapy. She’ll call us when he’s at his next milestone, 18 months. She gave me a checklist of what he needs to be doing by then, sadly some things on there Bo just started to do. poor bo….in some areas he’s smart in other he’s really behind. At that time we can re-evaluate his needs and see if he needs back in therapy or not. he’s doing amazingly better and his speech has picked up in the last week too, dont know if it’s from the ability to hear better or just because he’s finally ready to talk more.

Bo is doing well as well. for the first time ever he’s responding the first time I call his name, or ask him something. it’s a huge difference. caleb seems the same, he only seemed to have a problem w/ needing the tv or music on the radio turned up. I do think the tv level has been down as well since I know I havent yelled about it being too loud in at least a week! wohoo for ear tubes!!

well gotta run…bo’s outside somewhere….

EDIT: I wouldnt be suprised if one day a neighbor called social services on us…..Bo was up the street w/ Caleb.   I can see how folks kids can be found wandering, I pray I dont have to deal with him ever wandering so far that I dont know where he is.  I knew he was outside w/ caleb so it couldnt be that bad, but still…..I just read the other day about a couple being charged w/ child endangerment and neglect because their kid was found wandering on the highway…if Bo ever wandered that far it would be my own fault, but how far does he have to wander for me to get in trouble?  not that I shouldnt watch him all of the time but our neighbors just came on Sunday and complained about the dog pooping in their yard(in our defense we share a front yard w/ them, and how do you teach a dog where their yard starts and ours ends when we dont have a fence?) and what not…so I dont want them to have any other reason to get on my case…it’s hard enough keeping up w/ the kids as is…you’d think they’d offer to help instead of getting on our case…blah….a neighbor further up the street knew where Bo was, thankfully, and I dont think she thought badly of me for him being up the street w/out me, like I said he wasnt alone, he was w/ caleb and his friend, so it really wasnt that big of a deal…sometimes I wish I could be two places at once…at least now it’s raining and they cant go outside, they are working on beads and lacing…which really is good for Bo’s fine motor skills, he seems to be doing better than he has in a long time…
