deaninterviewready.jpgLife can be so interesting sometimes! So today Dean interviewed for a job w/ Dell ,the company that is once again taking his job, the bigger irony is his best friend was the interviewer; he took a job w/ dell a few months back.   In order for Dean to still get his severance he can get a job offer w/ Dell but if cant be more than 75% of his current pay.   So the plus is he will probably have a job and get severance, but he will probably be doing the same exact job w/ a different paying company that is paying him less than 75% of what he makes now!! We more than likely cant live off of that!   I have an interview w/ a family on Tuesday to watch another infant (will be 6 weeks when she starts in April!)  That will help out a lot but that means I”ll have two babies on top of my rowdy boys!!   Dean didnt want to turn down the chance for a job in this crappy market, but it scares me to know he’ll be making so much less and worse knowing he’ll be doing the same job!!   it’s ridiculous but w/ any luck we’ll have insurance and income! (just not enough!)

Nothing else really going on, unless you count the fact that last week we had a pipe bust and cause water damage to the playroom.   we had to fork over $1000 deductible for our homeowners insurance to kick in.   the plus is the basement will get new paint and we wont be paying for it, the con is that we currently cant use the playroom, I’ve made a temporary one in another room upstairs.  I’m hoping to have a lot of the work fixed before the family comes to interview me on Tuesday!! but am not hopeful that that will happen!

when it rains it pours, our last few weeks have been filled w/ constant stress and I’m hoping that this streak of bad luck is ending!!
