Took the boys and my niece to the pool today for a few hours and we got home shortly after 5.  Zeke fell asleep quickly, the pool is less than 10 minutes away so I put him in bed to nap.   Once Dean walked in and started up the grill for dinner I laid down to relax, and slept for almost 2 hours!!   he had to make dinner himself and feed the kids solo.  I’ve had to do this a lot lately after busy days, I keep forgetting I’m not able to do so much anymore w/ out being worn out!   the pool was lots of fun.  the best part of this summer will be knowing many more people.   I sat at the baby pool talking to a mom of one of Caleb’s class mates and fellow cub scout.    Last summer we didnt know that many people, boy has that changed!  Last week at the zoo I ran into 3 people I know.  I say the chances of that happening is amazing at some place so public and crowd drawing.  We’ve had similar experiences w/ Kings Island these last two weeks.    It’s kind of nice to be “known”  I just hope it’s a  good thing at least, I’d hate people to walk away and say “that those crazy McKenzies…!”   well it is true so I guess they can say that!  well off to try to be productive!

Chronic worrier but devoted Christian who is trying to put her fears and faith in the One who created it all and provides for all my needs despite the daily challenges and doubts that arise. Along the way I chose to share my journey with you. Thanks for coming along for the ride! The road won't always be bright and the journey may sometimes be hard, but it can be an amazing adventure if you keep your eyes and thoughts "on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable" (Philippians 4:8).
