Help!! so we went shopping tonight when Dean got home for party stuff. Got home and as we got Bo ready for bed his fever was 100.7. So no party tomorrow. I *started* to put him to bed at 7:40ish. Dean left around 8:30 to go get coffee w/ a friend. Bo spent the most of the time he was gone either screaming in his bed or in my arms. In between the small amts of sleep he did get I cleaned the house. He’s cutting a tooth, or two it seems. Something that wasnt so obvious til today, you can see the tooth almost broken through. So teething and the nasty cold Caleb had. We’ll be lucky if any of sleep tonight. I made dean pick up some baby orajel and for once Bo’s stopped screaming so pray that’s all he needed. He’s already had cold medicine w/ tylenol for the runny nose, cough and fever. I hate medicating him but someone has to get some sleep. He didnt nap all day except in the car on the way to pick up Dean from work. I am exhausted, to the point of breaking down in tears several times today. We’re hoping we’re all better by next week to try his party again and for our trip to Ohio.
Dean’s attending a men’s breakfast at church tomorrow, the first of it’s kind since we’ve attended, and it’s been a few years. It starts at 8 so we’ll both be up early, him at the breakfast, me at home w/ burnt bagels (our toaster sucks lately); a sick baby and a preschooler w/ cabin fever. After the men’s breakfast is a work day at church, doing odds and ends around the church so who knows when that ends. since we arent doing the party I’ve allowed Dean to hang out for that, but I’m planning on escaping for a nap when he gets home. If we’re lucky we’ll get the kids to nap too. There’s a few things around town I think Caleb would enjoy tomorrow but I guess only one of us will get to go w/ him if Bo keeps acting this way. I guess this is what happens when at just shy of a year a baby has only 2 teeth and decides to get a few at a time to make up for it. We were so lucky w/ Caleb, aside from clumsiness he had no fussiness or any symptoms at all w/ teething. Bo gets it all, complete with a rash on his face and crazy fussiness. Im even thinking part of the fever is from it too since Caleb’s temp never got that high w/ the cold. Should be a great weekend. I’m depressed just thinking about it! At least I’m planning a lunch out w/ my girlfriend Sunday after church, hoping that helps!! and one week from tomorrow is our big u/s , I’m getting so anxious!! well since it’s quiet and the house is clean for once I’m heading to bed, after finishing my late night snack, I made Dean pick me up a cheeseburger and fries, I was starving after all that fighting w/ bo and housework! that and I didnt eat lunch today so I think the baby needed some more calories!
