(FYI: lots of pics up on Flickr.) We’ve had a busy week but so far a laid back holiday itself.  On Sunday evening Zeke fell and hit his facce pretty hard on the hard part of our sofa, i.e. not cushioned part. So it swelled up pretty badly,
so yesterday I took him to the dr in the morning to see if it was broken.  He cant tell much so if it looks at all abnormal after the swelling is gone we will have to get it re-examined.  After that Dean got home early from work and we made sugar cookies using my Great Grandmothers Recipe. Then we exchanged gifts w/ our friends, who happen to be our neighbors as well.  After that we went to participate in the 8th annual donut outreach at church(there were tons of people of church for this event!)
, they give out boxes of fresh Krispy Kreme donuts to those unfortunate souls that have to work on Christmas eve, it ended up being a long ordeal for us, so it was a bummer, but we prayed that somehow those donuts got to someone who needed to know they were cared for this holiday.  This morning we did our gifts then had Dean’s family over for lunch and gifts.

Dean : electric razor, cool electric toothbrush, 2 books in a set of novels he’s reading
Caleb: 30 in. acoustic guitar, High School Musical 2, Clothes ( including a pink shirt w/ words in a camo print that say: tough guys wear pink!)Â , MP3 player- Sansa Shake, Uno Attack, American idol dance mat(hooks up to the tv), Madlibs Jr book, Christmas music & movies, Shrek the Third, Sorry(the game)…more I cant recall right now…
Bo : guitar (electronic big kid kind, but not a real “electric” one), Geotraxx set, crayons, markers, remote control fire
engine, Geotraxx train w/ remote(in addition to the set we got him), trucks, clothes, one cool shirt says Pots and Pans band, the other says “dont blame me , the dog did it”, Doodlebops movie, play spiderman camera w/ case, Memory game…more but my memory fails me
Zeke: dishwashing set w/ dishes and uses real water( a really big hit w/ all of them!), play food, keyboard (see the musical theme we’re having?), bath toys & accessories, Mr. Potato head w/ pirate accessories(i’m excited about this, since we’ve never had one for any of the boys and they play w/ them at preschool and love it!) , Barney movie set,Little People Airplane
Collective gifts: my mom is going to renew our zoo membership for 2008, my friend gave us family season passes to the Cincinnati Musuem center also for 2008(awesome gift and friends!) – which has a childrens musuem(we’ve yet to go there since the move or at all for that matter, so it’s pretty exciting!) , Dean’s parents are giving Dean and I season passes to Kings island for the upcoming year, so we just need to get one for Caleb and Bo before the season starts!
