This weekend last year was quite nice…warm even.   It was the weekend we packed up and moved from Balto. to Ohio.     Dean & Amy Dec. 14th 2007 Last night we attended Dean’s holiday party.  Last year he had to go by himself since we werent here yet.   the party was fine, the food was great, and we danced.   Zeke stayed overnight at M’s house and the older boys were with Dean’s parents overnight as well.  So we went to toysrus, which is open til Midnight through the holiday shopping season then came home and crashed.   We didnt DSCF0035 Zeke enjoying the snowget up til around 9 or so to find that it was snowing heavily.  We didnt get Zeke til 10ish and the older boys got home later on.   Once everyone was home they got bundled up and we all went out to enjoy the snow.  by this time it had turned to rain/freezing rain, so it was slushy and messy, but the boys and the dog had a lot of fun!   right now the boys are resting, Dean’s putting a fire in the fireplace and I am going to exercise for a bit here at home.   Weather permitting, we’re on tech team all weekend for church, so we wanted the boys rested up since they say they were up til midnight and their behavior reflects lack of sleep already!

Dog gone ...Been trying to reflect about how I feel about the one year mark of our move and I just cant do it.   I should but I just cant put words to anything.   Everytime I start to I get distracted or start thinking about things going on currently. so maybe the point is that I should leave the past alone, at least for now.    plenty of time for memories later, right now I’m enjoying the new ones I’m making w/ the boys, hubby and friends.   nothing quite like sitting by the fire, on a comfy sofa in gazing out past the Christmas tree in the room out at the snow covered yard…….doesnt get much better than this…(I did mention all three boys are sleeping didnt I!)

About Amy

Chronic worrier but devoted Christian who is trying to put her fears and faith in the One who created it all and provides for all my needs despite the daily challenges and doubts that arise. Along the way I chose to share my journey with you. Thanks for coming along for the ride! The road won't always be bright and the journey may sometimes be hard, but it can be an amazing adventure if you keep your eyes and thoughts "on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable" (Philippians 4:8).
