dining room

one of the last projects we’ll do, that is something I want done really badly, is tiling the kitchen backsplash.   But since I couldnt start that on my own without hubby and through the day w/ the kids, I worked on preparing to paint the bottom half of the wall in the dining room.  I consulted w/ my friend about color, she’s an interior designer!  And we both agreed on a color that would compliment both the new living room furniutre, which actually does matter since the rooms are so open, as well as the green paint in the living room.  I got some new valances yesterday and the paint last night, so Dean painted for me, I did the primer coat despite my painful back so he felt bad for me I suppose and painted the purplish color for me.   It’s not done yet but I had to share how great it’s starting to look!!   I’m so excited, not gonna want to move the house is getting so nice!!diningroombefore.jpg

About Amy

Mom to boys who were born Aug. 2001, Nov. 2004, March 2006; and devoted wife to the love of my life since Nov. 1998. Chronic worrier but devoted Christian who is trying to put her fears and faith in the One who created it all and provides for all my needs despite the daily challenges and doubts that arise. Along the way I chose to share my journey with you. Thanks for coming along for the ride! The road won't always be bright and the journey may sometimes be hard, but it can be an amazing adventure if you keep your eyes and thoughts "on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable" (Philippians 4:8).
