went to the dr today, I cleaned yesterday and before I even went my back hurt, ok, my back has hurt for almost 3 weeks now, but somedays it’s not as bad, the days where I dont do much(when is that?!) But by the time I left my friends house I was in unbearable pain. We went to the toy store and I could barely walk around the store due to the pain. I rested w/ the heating pad and took some more pain meds and muscle relaxers that Dean had been using, I”ve been taking them for a few days in an attempt to avoid a dr visit but this morning when I couldnt get around even to shower without wincing in pain, I told Dean I needed to go to the dr today and that he should probably stay home, lifting Zeke even is too painful.
I was completely expecting her to just say go to physical therapy, that’s always there answer for back pain.   But….she said it’s a herniated disk, loaded me me up w/ prescriptions for steriods and pain so I can function she said. If it’s not better after the week of steriods to call and they’ll order scans and possible send me elsewhere for treatment, something about injecting something into the disk to correct it.  Needless to say I’m glad I didnt keep trying to functioning or barely functioning as it was, hoping the meds help!!  So Dean’s home, trying to convince him to go get some chinese for lunch.
Caleb’s last day of summer school is tomorrow, they were taking a field trip to Fort McHenry today, he was so excited about it. We made him take a bottle of sunscreen with him, hoping they remembered to use it!
