At a week over 4 months, Zeke weighed in at 13 lbs 4 oz and 25 1/2 inches tall.  He’s small weight wise, only in the 10th percentile for his age, but he makes up for it in his height, in which he’s in the 70th percent for babies his age.   She wasnt concerned about his weight, said it’s probably normal for him but to try to start him on cereal.  I tried last week but he didnt know what to do with it, today he gagged and threw up after I gave him tylenol in anticipation of him getting vaccines.   So I dont think he’s quite ready for “solids” yet.  Heck he just threw up all over me again and it was just his bottle.  he’s been spitting up all day, maybe he’s not feeling well, and yes he was like that before the vaccinations.   The dr commented on how strong and active he is, and he of course showed off his happiness by smiling at everyone and everything.  he didnt even cry when he got the three vaccinations, instead he cried when they put a bandaid on him!   But he was calm before we even left that room!   That’s how Caleb was when getting shots, he barely cared at all.  I’m glad he did so well today.

My friend came over to keep Bo and let me borrow her car to go to Zeke’s appointment.  I havent gone w/ just one child to the pediatrician since it was just Caleb and it was soooo nice just to have one child, and one in a carseat at that!   I was very happy and not nearly as exhausted after the trip there as I normally am when I have to chase Bo around while carrying Zeke.

Last night Dean showed  me how to install some closet doors we bought, so today I was anxious to try to do some on my own.  So I tried to tackle one this morning but got fed up so gave up.   Being motivated, I tried again this afternoon, I got one up and well at that.  Not even 5 minutes later Bo and Caleb had somehow managed to break the brand spankin new out of the package installed closet.   I reacted well considering, but was dissappointed since I was hoping Dean would come home and be impressed that I had pulled it off without him but instead I had to show him the broken door instead.  I did manage to get another one up in our hallway, where we keep our towels and such, and so far the kids havent touched it, good for them and me!

I”m going to attempt to drive our car tomorrow so I can go clean for my friend, pray it gets me there and back safely.  Our mechanic cant look at our van til next Tuesday!  I am so frustrated w/ both vehicles and wish we could just go get something newer and reliable.

well we are trying to get the kids in bed so we can get to work downstairs, again!   hope everyone is having a good week!
