Today is trash day. the trashmen never showed up. Dean calld 311 upon my request and was told all of the workers were pulled to drive salt trucks. Funny thing is I havent seen a freakin salt truck all day. I was even complaining before I knew why they didnt get our trash because the forecast has been for snow for two days and they roughly knew when the snow would start, so they had at least 24 hours to salt the roads. I’ve been out and about today, no roads I were on were salted. It’s a bunch of crap, I’m thinking of emailing the news to see if they will run something on the lack of trash pick up and salting…..hmmm….did I mention since our trash cans sat out all day the squirrels littered our yard becuase they went through the trash and neighbors trash finding food and left debris everywhere, at least now it’s under a few inches of snow, but it’ll be there to pick up when the snow is gone.

In other news, Bo got some vacinnes today. He went from a happy little toddler to a fussy lethargic red faced mess, turns out his temp is currently 102.8. I freaked and called the pediatrician after reading that a temp over 102 is an adverse reaction and the dumb person who answered was like duh kids get fevers, I was like yeah but not almost 103 fevers. she said give him tylenol and push fluids, gee thanks. if he’s still fevered tomorrow I’m calling the dr again. at least now he’s not lethargic, or as bad!
